I am an EFT International accredited practitioner who trained with Sue Beer and Emma Roberts, EFT Masters at the EFT Centre in London.
I became interested in EFT during my work as a bereavement volunteer, helping individuals to process grief and loss. I have seen first hand the impact of EFT on a clients life and the very real positive benefit upon their daily living: how the practice of Tapping can help deal with those feelings of loss and despair. Since qualifying as a fully trained practitioner, I work with people on a wide range of emotional issues ranging from anxiety, phobias to depression.
My professional background has always been people focused involving listening, helping and finding solutions to emotional issues. I have found that, although at times we don't even know where our negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs originate, there is usually an emotion hidden beneath it. As an intuitive person, I believe I can help you identify that emotion and support you to clear the blocks that are stopping you from living the life that you really want. You might have these certain beliefs, but a belief is just a thought and a thought can be changed and then the healing can begin. I can teach you to develop the EFT techniques that you need to address the ups and downs in your life thus restoring your health and wellbeing..

What is Emotional Freedom Technique?
EFT can be transformational. It is an alternative treatment for physical pain and addressing emotional distress also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. It has evolved in recent years and now is widely accepted as a highly successful, structured approach to healing; working where nothing else has helped. It is an enormously valuable tool that can be applied to help you with your journey resulting in the healing and improvement you need to be able to live the life you want.
The process involves gentle fingertip tapping on acupuncture points on the body whilst tuning into the issue at hand. This process is thought to send calming signals to the brain that controls stress. The therapeutic effects of this technique are recognized around the world.
EFT Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back. It has long been recognised that the body and mind are interconnected and that emotional well-being is central to physical health.
EFT has been described as “like acupuncture but without the needles” as you gently tap on certain parts of the face and body whilst you concentrate on a specific issue.
Difficulties may arise when we use only a particular part of the brain to look at an issue or memory. EFT uses simple methods to allow you to use different parts of the brain to provide a more balanced view.
From your first session, EFT provides you with simple tools to take away and apply to your own personal issues. The great news is that results can be long lasting as you let go of unhelpful thoughts, emotions and feelings. You will find that your body also has less stress and tension.

How many sessions will I need?
Some issues can be cleared, permanently, with as little as 1 to 2 sessions of EFT but for complex problems, where there are different aspects and issues to consider and tap on, several sessions may be needed. Sometimes clients come with what they think is a huge issue, to find that it clears with EFT surprisingly quickly. Other times, issues emerge after one layer of the problem has been “dealt with” leading to further work.
The human body is incredible and has the innate ability to heal itself, but we need to be able to understand what it is trying to tell us. EFT can help us work out what that is! We have our own energy system, where energy flows through us and surrounds us. When that energy is free flowing, we feel good and all is well with the world, but when it is blocked or depleted, we feel the total opposite and can even suffer a range of issues including physical pain, fears and phobias.

I offer a FREE 15-minute telephone consultation - it’s important that you feel comfortable with your me.
This gives an opportunity to get a feel for me as well as ask questions. I can explain EFT in more detail and what to expect during a one hour session. All face to face sessions are held in a safe environment where I am able to hold space for you to be yourself and to start the healing process.
It also enables me to establish whether EFT is right for you at this time.

- Create a safe, private, distraction free space.
- Be prompt to the session (the session will still end at the scheduled time so starting promptly is in your best interest)..

All therapy sessions are paid in advance via bank transfer. Late cancellation fees; less than 24 hours notice – full session fee is payable.
